A formidable earthquake measuring a 7 at the Eastern scale — the most powerful at the scale — rocked central Japan on Monday, prompting a tsunami caution for a vast swath of the rustic’s western coast.
The tsunami caution steered other people to briefly go away coastal spaces of Ishikawa, Niigata, Toyama and Yamagata prefectures, with waves of as much as 5 meters predicted for the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa, NHK reported.
