An oil tanker managed by Trafigura Group, a major trading company, was hit by a missile while traveling through the Red Sea, marking the most significant assault to date by Yemen’s Houthi rebels on a vessel carrying oil. “Firefighting equipment on the ship is being used to manage and control the fire in one of the cargo tanks on the right side,” stated a spokesperson for Trafigura. “We are staying in communication with the tanker and closely monitoring the situation. Military ships in the area are en route to offer assistance.”
