If you’re nearing level 20 in Palworld and have recently unlocked a Breeding Farm, it’s a good idea to start experimenting with breeding Pals. Breeding not only allows you to obtain stronger Pals early on but also helps you discover Pals with unique traits. Gobfin Ignis is one such Pal, and here’s a guide on how to obtain it.

To obtain Gobfin Ignis in Palworld, you can breed a Water-type Gobfin with Rooby. If you’re level 20 or higher, locating these Pals shouldn’t pose a challenge. Furthermore, they can all be found in the central part of the island, eliminating the need to fly to different islands. Additionally, if you prefer not to wait until level 30, you can find Gobfin Ignis on the west coast of Mount Obsidian (Volcano Island). Although rare, I encountered Gobfin Ignis north of Everlasting Summer Beach by using fast travel. Breeding is a viable option if you do not wish to wait until level 30 to capture this Pal.

You can capture a regular Gobfin in the Gobfin’s Turf walking area. Gobfins are approximately level 20, hence they shouldn’t be too difficult to handle. I managed to capture a group using my Metal Spear, but if you prefer to bring a Pal along, any Electric Pal will suffice.

You can find Rooby in the area south of the Seabreeze Archipelago Church Fast Travel point. They typically roam at night and are around level 5, so be cautious not to accidentally eliminate them when weakening them. Transfer all Pals to your Breeding Farm, give them some space, and soon you’ll have a red Gobfin Ignis egg to call your own. Place it in the Egg Incubator to hatch.
Gobfin Ignis Type, Partner Skills, Job Requirements, and More
The regular Gobfin is a Water Pal, while Gobfin Ignis is a Fire Pal. It is adept at Kindling, can assist with Handcrafting and Carrying, and can boost your attack power. Note: Fire Ally Skill: Angry Shark – When activated, it attacks the targeted enemy with potent Spirit Fire, and in a team, it amplifies the player’s power. Job Competency: Level 2, manual labor, level 1, and Driving level 1 Drop: Hungry Fire Organ: 3/10 Bio: “Once a formidable marine Pal, it surfaced due to diminishing food sources. The extensive calorie consumption as it moved led to a remarkable awakening of its fire-controlling abilities.”
That pretty much covers it. Best of luck, have fun, and remember to treat your friends kindly.
