A mysterious occurrence graces the sacred grounds of the Holy Place, infusing them with significant energy and abundance. Revelers interpret this as the blessings of their Ancestors, who have crossed over to bestow their goodwill and partake in the festivities! Explore and activate the Sanctuary of the Moon in all areas and activities within the Sanctuary to enjoy a 50% bonus XP (multiplied) when active, along with a 30% increase in speed, enhanced buffs, and continual acquisition of the Ancestors’ Favor reputation.
Lunar Awakening Begins
To fully immerse yourself in the thrill of Lunar Awakening, head to the north part of Ked Bardu and meet Ying-Yue, the leader of the Lunar Night Market. This market serves as your Lunar Awakening headquarters, where you can redeem your Ancestor’s Favor history for the top rewards of the Lunar Renewal title. The Sanctuary of the Moon extends throughout the Sanctuary. Traverse dungeons and overworlds, explore Lunar Sanctuaries, and vanquish giants to earn more Ancestors Favor history.
Lunar shrines are identifiable by their adornment with a Dragon, symbolizing the Awakening of the Moon. Lunar Sanctuaries also bear a distinctive map icon, making them easily recognizable from a distance. During Lunar Awakening, Nightmare Dungeon Sigils bear the privilege of holding the dungeon’s Ancestor’s Favor, ensuring that Lunar Sanctums are exclusively spawned in that dungeon. In addition to the additional Shrines, you’ll also receive a 10% bonus Glyph XP upon the dungeon’s completion! All Nightmare Dungeon Sigils with the Ancestor’s Favor Affix will persist after the ritual, so feel free to reserve them for as many days as the moon is in Lunar Awakening. Lunar Shrines and Ancestors’ Favor Lunar Shrines emanate a peculiar and potent energy. Participants of Lunar Awakening perceive this energy as the returning spirits of their ancestors, festively adorned to commemorate this special occasion. During Lunar Awakening, certain Shrines will transform into Lunar Shrines, exhibiting new features to align with the festivities! The Moon Sanctuary functions similarly to the Sanctuary; however, it has been infused with additional prowess to honor the occasion. Lunar Shrines offer an intriguing bonus in addition to their Shrine powers, the Lunar Shrine effects are listed below.
Lunar Shrine Additional Effects:
Artillery Shrine – Casts have a chance to summon a white bomb.
Blast Wave Shrine – Every blast causes enemies to explode.
Channeling Shrine- Increases attack speed and cooldown regeneration.
Conduit Shrine – Summons frequent, powerful, perilous attacks.
Greed Shrine – Chance to summon a Treasure Goblin. While the Shrine is active, 25 kills will summon a Treasure Goblin, and 50 kills will summon a second.
Lethal Shrine – Chance to instantly kill a struck monster, inducing fear in surrounding monsters. Note: this includes Elites, but excludes Bosses and other Players.
Shrine Protection – Reflects all incoming damage. Damage scales with Level and World Tier.
Furthermore, Miserly spirits spawn immediately after Lunar Shrines are activated, enabling players to promptly capitalize on the expanding effects of the Shrines.

Players can earn 10 levels of Ancestor’s Favor history and unlock 6 Lunar jewelry rewards. Additionally, Lunar Awakening costumes will be available in Tejal’s shop, designed to adorn your pilgrims in attire befitting this exciting occasion.
