Sony’s first PlayStation State Play of 2024 kicked off with a bang on Wednesday, offering a first look as well as other big announcements coming to the console in the coming months. In the 43-minute guide, Sony’s reveals included the PlayStation 5 remake of “Until Dawn,” the PlayStation version of “Dave the Diver” (featuring Godzilla) and Capcom’s “Dragon’s Dogma II” video. However, these big titles pale in comparison to today’s biggest news, from Hideo Kojima’s new project to Ken Levine’s highly anticipated BioShock sequel. Below are the top five highlights from State of Play. “Stellar Blade” The first big look was for “Stellar Blade,” ShiftUp’s Earth-apocalyptic story in which a mysterious Demogorgon army called the NA:tive has forced humanity to flee to another planet. Players play as paratrooper Eva, joined by her friends Adam and Lily, on her mission to save people from extinction. The preview revealed gameplay mechanics such as skill trees, weapon upgrades and key locations like the underground city of Xion. Eva often encounters people in need and players can choose to help them or ignore them. The game will be released on April 26.

First, the title of the free game “Silent Hill: The Short Message” was revealed to be released on the same day for PlayStation 5. In the preview, a girl jumps from the top of a building and wakes up in an unknown way, hostile environment. Tormented by messages from his friend, he insists that he will not leave prison until he gets what he wants. A trailer for the PS5 remake of “Silent Hill 2” was also revealed, but no release date was shared.

In it, a silver-haired girl asks, “What if I tell you that every word you say is written down?” Any thoughts you had? Your love, your fear, your hatred were just planted in your brain like weeds in the garden. What can you do for yourself? We all know the answer to that question: none. The first-person shooter features brutal robots, paint mistakes and a gun-toting dinosaur wearing a cowboy hat. No release date has been shared.

As State of Play ended, the camera appeared to show the “Physint” logo under the Columbia Pictures sign… whatever that means. Fans won’t have to wait long for State of Play – the sequel is scheduled for Feb. 6 and will be fully dedicated to ” Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.”
