On Sunday, Amit Gupta, the developer of Sudowrite, shared his experience after using Apple’s new invention, Vision Pro, via a post on X, formerly Twitter. Initially hesitant about the test, Mr. Gupta decided to try out the technology during a five-hour journey and wrote about his experience on a Southwest flight. “I’ve been on a 5-hour flight with the Apple Vision Pro,” Gupta tweeted. Gupta shared that the features provided by the technology were impressive. He also mentioned the seamless compatibility of the old Airpods Pro with the augmented reality (AR) headset, which he and a fellow passenger found truly amazing. He also noted a few other details about his experience. “I’m fine to use my MacBook keyboard with the display closed, and drinks on my tray table. Nobody’s looking over my shoulder,” he wrote. “The visual display seems much larger in actual use than in this video. It’s fantastic. The ‘old’ AirPods Pro works fine. Disney DRM blocks movie recording. I allowed vision to update to visionOS 1.0.2 last night and my battery was down to 50% this morning! I would love to! But since I’m looking, it’s no big deal. My seatmate said ‘it’s fine.’ No one has said anything or seemed to notice,” he assured. Mr. Gupta’s posts quickly went viral, gaining over 3.9 million views and various reactions from netizens. Commenting on the post, a user inquired, “How good is this movie? Is it 2k-4k?” to which Mr. Gupta responded, “Special. Movies are something that Apple Vision Pro excels at. Apple’s movie theater makes you feel like you are in a movie theater.” Another user referred to it as a “Sweet show.” The release of Vision Pro by the world’s most famous hardware manufacturer is an important milestone for virtual or virtual reality enthusiasts, who see technology as the next chapter in online life after the smartphone. Apple states that there are 600 specially designed apps and games available for Vision Pro, along with one million related programs. For more information, click here.
