Apple has made a significant announcement concerning Windows users who utilize iTunes on Windows while using an iPhone or accessing Apple Music and Apple TV. For Windows 10 or later, Apple has rolled out new “standalone” versions of Apple Music, Apple TV, and a new Device Manager as replacements for iTunes for Windows. However, Windows users will still employ iTunes for Windows for audiobooks and podcasts. This software also comes into play when setting up new software on your PC. iTunes for Windows was first launched by Apple on October 16, 2003, with support for the iPod and the iTunes Music Store. Apple has published a support document providing details about the new software.
