The most recent Fortnite event showcases the Cowabunga Pass, a limited-time battle pass featuring a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed makeover. Although the turtles are available for individual purchase in the store, this pass offers emotes, pickaxes, and a Super Shredder skin, as well as other rewards. The Cowabunga Pass consists of 11 levels, with each level offering both a free and a premium prize. The pass is available for 1,000 V-Bucks (approximately $9 USD). The free version includes emotes inspired by the four turtles, as well as other TMNT items like the Turtle Blimp glider. The premium pass offers additional content featuring Shredder, with the Super Shredder skin being the final unlock. Additionally, there is a list of challenges under the Splinter Assignment tab, rewarding players with Ooze currency. Every 1,000 Ooze unlocks new rewards, and the highest tier is accessible upon reaching 11,000 Ooze. The challenges are divided into six sections, and completing the requisite number of challenges in each section unlocks a special Krang reward. As the Cowabunga Pass is an event instead of a long-term battle pass, it is only available for a few weeks. The pass will be available until 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET on February 27, after which it will expire, and any unredeemed rewards will no longer be obtainable, even if the corresponding content in the prior levels has been exhausted.
