The update aims to address complaints from players regarding gameplay issues and frequent crashes. Additionally, criticisms have been raised about the game’s PC performance and the GameGuard anti-cheat software, as well as concerns about Helldivers 2’s monetization. Game director Mikael Eriksson acknowledged these issues on the game’s Discord channel and revealed that a matchmaking solution is currently being worked on. However, he cautioned that it may take “several days” of testing before the solution is implemented.
