AND EVEN IN SOME PARTS OF EASTERN CANADA, THAT DOES INCLUDE RIGHT HERE IN WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA. THAT’S RIGHT. AND METEOROLOGIST BRIAN HUTTON, JUNIOR BREAKS DOWN THE LOCAL REPORTS AS LEARNING ABOUT THE METEORS PATH. THE SKY OVER WESTERN PA WAS A LUNAR NOTED BY A METEOR LAST NIGHT JUST BEFORE 7:00. THE AMERICAN METEOR SOCIETY REPORTS THE HIGHEST CONCENTRATION OF VIEWINGS FROM NORTHERN VIRGINIA AND MARYLAND. IN FACT, OVER 200 SIGHTINGS OF THE METEOR WERE REPORTED WEDNESDAY NIGHT. BASED ON THE FINDINGS AND VIEWS FROM THE VIDEO, THE AMERICAN METEOR SOCIETY BELIEVES THAT THE METEOR MOVED FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST ACROSS WESTERN PA BEFORE IT EVENTUALLY DISINTEGRATED IN THE ATMOSPHERE SOMEWHERE OVER PA, A METEOR MOVING THROUGH THE ATMOSPHERE IS NOT A RARE EVENT, AS WE SEE OVER 48 TONS OF DEBRIS ENTER OUR ATMOSPHERE EVERY DAY.
