OnePlus recently unveiled its latest phone, the OnePlus 12, which features impressive camera technology. The new device builds upon previous models, such as the OnePlus Open, and introduces advances in hardware and collaboration with Hasselblad. The OnePlus 12 boasts the new Sony Lytia LYT-800-series main camera, which is equipped with a LYT-T808 chip for improved image quality, especially in low-light conditions. This technology enhances the camera’s light capturing capability. The LYT-808, developed in collaboration with Sony, improves light capturing and sensor capabilities in the OnePlus 12 compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus Open. The OnePlus 12 also includes a new 3x telephoto camera and an improved 64MP sensor, offering better zoom capabilities and improved performance in low-light conditions. Additionally, the ultrawide camera remains unchanged, maintaining its high-quality performance. The OnePlus 12 has also made significant software improvements, especially in HDR technology and Portrait mode, offering enhanced image processing and stabilization. This promising imaging technology is now available at a more accessible price point. The OnePlus 12 has advanced camera technology and promises to deliver exceptional image quality at a more affordable price. Stay tuned for PetaPixel’s review to see how it performs.
