The engine is known for its remarkable power output and long-term durability, as evidenced by a model with 388,000 miles currently up for sale on Bring a Trailer. Despite its high mileage and non-original condition, the car is attracting significant attention due to its overall condition and potential value. 
Car enthusiasts often highly value originality, low mileage, and preservation. However, this particular car diverges from those standards, boasting a significantly high odometer reading, extensive modifications reminiscent of a 2006 Super Street Magazine feature, and noticeable rust issues. While some prioritize a driver’s car over a museum-worthy classic, this particular vehicle has gained attention for potentially being more valuable as a source of spare parts. 
As of the current writing, bidding for this car has nearly reached $50,000, surpassing the original new price of $46,440 for the MS20 MSpra SuRP. While $50,000 may not be a common figure in the MKIV Supra market, a recent auction saw a 1994 Supra Turbo with low mileage fetching $232,000. An example with 45,000 miles sold for $75,000, and the necessary $25,000 investment in repairs underscored the significant value potential of such models. Dealing with rust, faded paint, and a deteriorated interior would require substantial investment and expertise, making it a costly endeavor. 
While personally, I may not spend close to $50,000 on a car, I believe this particular vehicle has potential. Aiming for a “Florida theme” would not only disappoint me with the purchase but also with myself.
