Get ready to shop: Amazon is launching its second Prime Day sale of the year on October 10. The event, called Prime Big Deal Days, will last for 48 hours and will only offer discounts to Amazon Prime subscribers.
This shopping extravaganza is similar to Prime Day in terms of limited time and exclusive deals. It’s Amazon’s way of getting ahead of other retailers and starting the holiday shopping season a month earlier. The event will also include outdoor Buy with Prime deals and an invite-only selection, just like the previous Prime Day sale.
Amazon has confirmed some of the brands that will be participating in the Prime Big Deal Days sale. These include Dyson, Sony, Barbie, SharkNinja, iRobot, LG, Peloton, Jabra, and Betty Buzz by Blake Lively. You can expect promotions on Amazon’s own brands as well, such as Echo smart speakers, Kindle tablets, Fire TV devices, and Ring security devices. Sales for some of these products will start soon.
“We’re giving our Prime members another way to save, by offering some of the most popular gifts of the season,” said Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime. “Members can shop in categories like fashion, home, and toys, which will feature our top products during Prime Big Deal Days. They can also take advantage of other exciting benefits, like shopping for their favorite products beyond Amazon.com and accessing doorbuster deals through Invite-only.”
The Prime Big Deal Days sale will be available in 19 countries, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, and Japan, among others.
