Fortunately, all six individuals were discharged from the hospital, as confirmed by the airline. The flight, numbered 271, touched down at Kahului Airport at approximately 2 p.m. Saturday, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which has initiated an investigation into the incident. Both American Airlines and the FAA have not disclosed further information. The Airbus 320 was carrying 167 passengers and seven crew members, according to the airline.
