Apple has sold more than 200,000 Vision Pro headphones in the US within 10 days since the product became available for purchase, according to MacRumors. The information on the sales numbers was provided by a source familiar with Apple’s sales figures.
Last Monday, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo estimated that Apple had sold approximately 160,000 to 180,000 units of the Vision Pro during the headphone’s pre-order weekend. However, sales may have slightly declined since then. The demand for Vision Pro headphones is expected to increase after real consumers start sharing their experiences, and when radio reviews are released on Tuesday.
Kuo has cautioned that demand for the Vision Pro may diminish due to its high price of $3,500 and limited market cap. Apple is anticipated to release about half a million Vision Pro headphones, but it remains uncertain whether that many units will be sold. Reports suggest that Apple might have difficulty manufacturing the Vision Pro, which could lead to a limited sale.
Additionally, it has been reported that Apple is planning to launch the first US cars with support for Next-generation CarPlay in 2024, with availability in other countries to follow. Moreover, Apple is said to be working on iOS 18, which is anticipated to be a significant software update for the iPhone. It is expected that iOS 17.4 will bring several updates for EU users.
Apple is also expected to launch new iPad Air, iPad Pro, and MacBook models toward the end of March, as indicated by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. Furthermore, rumors suggest that Apple is developing a new HomePod with a touchscreen display, and there have been updates to the Apple Card savings rate, which exceeds that of some popular high-yield savings accounts in the US.
