“As we look ahead, we will continue to leverage these technologies and other innovations that will shape the future. This includes artificial intelligence, and we are devoting a significant amount of time and effort to this endeavor. We are excited to share the details of our progress in this area later this year.” Rumors are circulating about the potential release of the next Apple iPhone 18 software, described as the most significant software update in the device’s history, with several AI-related speculations. Apple is reportedly working on AI technology that could enhance Siri, the Messages app, and more. The integration of AI into the operating system and apps like Apple Music, Pages, and Xcode is being planned. Moreover, there are plans to expand the language options for Siri to enable it to perform more complex tasks, resulting in deeper integration between Siri and the Shortcuts app. This could result in a richer user experience. Apple’s sales numbers indicate that they have sold over 200,000 Vision Pro headsets since they became available for purchase in the US. Last week, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo estimated that between 160,000 and 180,000 units of the Vision Pro had been sold. Apple’s upcoming iOS 18 update is anticipated to be a major release, with Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman referring to it as potentially the most significant software update in iPhone history. Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple expert, anticipates that the upcoming iPhone 16 models, which will be launched later this year, will not have significant changes. He also suggested that substantial AI capabilities are unlikely until the iPhone 17 series is released next year at the earliest. In a recent development, some of Apple’s iCloud services are experiencing disruptions, resulting in the iCloud.com website being down and users being unable to access iCloud Mail. Additionally, Apple has released a new firmware update for AirPods Max, with the details of the changes yet to be disclosed. Apple Music subscribers can now access the “Replay 2024” playlist, allowing them to track the music they have listened to this year. This playlist is updated weekly based on the user’s listening habits.
