The gag game, Bloodborne Kart, has had to postpone its release after a “discussion” with Sony’s IP holders. The kart racing game from Bloodborne was originally set to launch at the end of the month, but the independent team has announced that it requires more time to “complete” the game.
The Future of the Bloodborne Kart The Future of the Bloodborne Kart “In short, we have to let go of the name Bloodborne Kart,” the team stated yesterday. “We’re going to do this, but there will be a slight delay.” The announcement assures fans that although the game will have “a slightly different appearance,” it is still underway, despite the postponement of the kart game’s release on January 31, 2024, with no new date given yet. “We don’t have a release date at the moment, but we’ll inform you all as soon as we do!” the team added. “We were truly looking forward to this, and the prospect of having full creative control is thrilling!” The project was initially revealed in early 2022 and is being developed by game creator Lilith Walther, who also delivered the Bloodborne demake that faithfully recreated the early stages in the detailed style of the PS1. The game, previously known as Bloodborne Kart, features 12 racers, 16 maps, and a single-player campaign with boss battles. It will also offer local multiplayer and a VS Battle mode. Unfortunately, players won’t be racing against Father Gascoigne in the boss race.
