Clorox announced on Monday that it is still experiencing significant disruptions in its production as a result of a cyberattack last month.

The company, known for its bleach products and Pine-Sol, along with other household items, also mentioned that it doesn’t have a timeline for when it expects to resume full operations.

Due to outages and delays in product availability, Clorox anticipates its fiscal first quarter results will be impacted by the cybersecurity breach.

Nevertheless, Clorox assures that it has contained the threat and plans to gradually restore its systems over the next week to resume full production gradually.

Back on August 14th, Clorox disclosed that its systems had been breached and took immediate action by shutting down affected systems and involving law enforcement.

After a month has passed since the initial attack, Clorox reports “widescale disruption” to its operations, requiring the company to rely on manual procedures. Consequently, order processing has been scaled back, resulting in fewer products being available in stores.

In addition to Clorox, Las Vegas casinos MGM and Caesars have also dealt with their own cyberattacks. MGM has warned that its finances may be significantly affected as well.
