A police officer in Argentina reportedly shot and killed his ex-girlfriend at her workplace after barging in and declaring, “You’re mine or no one’s,” according to witnesses. The officer, Sergio Patricio Galván, entered the beauty center where his ex-girlfriend, Teresita Luciana López, worked as a secretary. After making his statement, Galván shot and killed López before attempting suicide by shooting himself in the abdomen and head. He survived and was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he shouted, “Look what you made me do.”

Galván and López had been in a romantic relationship but broke up in August. Friends of the couple revealed that Galván was taking the breakup badly and had been harassing López, prompting her to file a complaint. However, the police had not received any reports prior to the murder. López had planned to file a complaint on the day she was killed, but Galván arrived at her workplace minutes before she could do so.

Galván used his service pistol to commit the murder. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the number of times López was shot. Galván is currently in intensive care at the hospital. Mariana Barbetti, the salon owner, heard the receptionist urging someone to call the police and was shocked to discover the horrifying scene.

López’s sister, Patricia, expressed her grief on social media, saying she doesn’t know how to move forward without her sister.
