JAXA confirms SLIM landing successful, sends out robots to lunar surface
Jan. 25 (UPI) — Japan’s Smart Lander for Investigating the Moon, also known as SLIM, successfully landed on the moon Saturday, approximately 180 feet, or a little over half the length of a football field, away from its intended landing location, according to space officials on Thursday.
