So, when gamers realized that the latest Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo was an piano you could sit down and play, it was only a matter of time before some great videos of Cloud Strife playing the piano surfaced.
Three Things We Learned About Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth At the beginning of the show, while exploring all the pages Nibelheim has to offer, players can find a piano sitting inside Tifa's room (among things Cloud may or may not look at, much to Tifa's chagrin). This is a throwback episode from the 1997 original, in which playing the piano in Tifa's room opens her final Limit Break. But like the Rebirth, the piano has been redesigned and expanded. The game challenges you to perfect the “Tifa Theme,” but that hasn't stopped players from getting creative with the keyboard. Many have looked to repurpose popular music from other media, including old TV shows, movies, other video games, and efforts from those who just want to try their hand at recapturing the soundtrack of Final Fantasy VII. Finally, we have passionate players bringing back the world's music to the game, creating a more immersive experience in Tifa's room. Of course, the demo has a lot more to offer than the piano. Ahead of the game's February 29th release on PlayStation 5, this trailer lets players in on the Nibelheim flashback that will be familiar to fans of the original FF7. The demo will continue to expand before the final game is released with an update on February 21 that adds the Junon area, but you have to finish the Nibelheim demo first, so don't spend all your time playing the piano.
