# Evo 2024 lineup

For more than twenty years now, the Evo Championship Series has brought together fighting game fans from all corners of the world and all forms of life with no signs of slowing down yet. Organizers of the world’s biggest fighting game event will hold the Evo 2024 announcement tonight to reveal the main event headliners and details of the big weekend.
The annual Evo announcement is expected to begin at 5pm PT / 8pm ET although there are no details on how long or what will be included. While they still haven’t confirmed which games will be part of Evo’s main event, there are quite a few that already have their shoes on. Based on the list of Evo Japan 2024 and the latest games, Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Guilty Gear Strive and Mortal Kombat 1 should be present unless there is an emergency.
The King of Fighters 15, Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising, Dragon Ball FighterZ and Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes are all who want to be part of it although not all of them can enter. With Tekken 7 and Street Fighter 5 in the way, Dragon Ball would be the oldest modern title if it was chosen since it was shown at Evo since its release in 2018.
Considering that it has been since Sony took over a bit, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will probably include another main stage title at Evo 2024, but who knows, maybe fans will be in for a surprise. Evo Japan 2024 has Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, so it will be interesting to see if they repeat the main event or go with something like Killer Instinct.
As announced at the end of last year’s show, Evo 2024 will take place sooner than usual from July 19-21 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the new venue in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
