Samsung is preparing to launch two new mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55, following the recent release of the Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G. While the specifications of both models were made public a few weeks ago, clear images of the phones have now been leaked, providing a detailed look at their design. These leaked images, shared by well-known tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks), reveal significant changes in the design of both phones. The Galaxy A35 features an Infinity-O display, a notable upgrade from the U-shaped notch on the Galaxy A34. Additionally, the Galaxy A55 boasts a metal frame, making it the first Galaxy A phone to have this premium feature. Both phones come in four colors—Black, Green, Pink, and White—and have received an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, as well as Knox protection. The bezels on both models appear slimmer than their predecessors. These phones are expected to be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and 25W fast charging, in addition to stereo speakers and Samsung Pay. They also feature Samsung’s new ‘Key Island’ language.
It was previously revealed that the Galaxy A35 will be powered by an Exynos 1380 processor, while the Galaxy A55 will feature the new Exynos 1480 processor with Xclipse 530 GPU. Both models are rumored to have 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, and a MicroSD slot. The primary cameras on both phones will be 50MP with OIS, accompanied by 5MP main cameras. The Galaxy A35 may include an 8MP Ultrawide camera, while the Galaxy A55 is likely to have a 12MP ultrawide camera sensor. Other expected features include GPS, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. They will run on Android 14-based One UI 6.x out of the box and receive four major Android OS updates and five years of security updates.
