The power dynamics at Goldman Sachs are evident as the bank reshuffles its management committee, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal citing insiders.
According to a source familiar with the matter, Alison Mass and George Lee, both long-time employees, have exited the group, which consists of the heads of the bank’s key divisions and other top executives.
Two new committees are being established by Goldman to provide oversight for investment banking and markets, as reported by the Journal.
The bank’s spokesperson stated that final decisions have yet to be made and no invitations have been extended to join the management committee.
The Wall Street Journal reported that two veteran bankers have left the management committee. AP
