The iPhone 15 is now available for purchase in stores. However, it’s important to note that your options may vary depending on the specific model you choose. Whether you’re looking for the basic iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Plus, or if you’re considering the more advanced iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max, the available features and colors differ.

If you’re unsure which model is right for you, CNET has you covered. During Apple’s “Wonderlust” event on September 12, the company unveiled these new models. Apple claims that the iPhone 15 is the first phone to showcase colors “integrated into a permanent tinted glass.” By utilizing metal ions, Apple has the ability to control the colors within the glass back, resulting in a new range of colors. The iPhone 15 models feature a matte finish, while the titanium iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max come with a matte finish as well.

Meet Apple’s New Love for Pink: The Pink iPhone 15 and Apple Watch

If you’ve noticed a recurring pink theme throughout Apple’s Wonderlust event, you’re not alone. Pink was prominently featured during both the iPhone and Apple Watch segments. The introduction video for the iPhone 15 started with a pink fur background, leading us into the metallic pink world and eventually unveiling the pink iPhone 15 along with other color options.

In the Apple Watch segment, pink took center stage. The new Apple Watch Series 9 showcased its new pink color, igniting a display of various colors with an electric pink glow.

Naturally, this begs the question: What motivated Apple’s newfound love for pink? The trend surrounding the Barbie movie, which has dominated online platforms and movie theaters throughout the summer, seems like a probable inspiration. The film’s commercials and “Barbie-core” style have embraced the iconic pink tone, making it incredibly popular.

While Apple’s new pink iPhone isn’t an exact match to the Barbie pink shade we’ve grown accustomed to, it’s possible that Barbie’s influence played a role in this release. Regardless, now is the perfect time for the launch of the new pink iPhone.

Titanium Colors: iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max Models

Titanium colors were also prominent in Apple’s announcements. Rumors had circulated prior to the event that black versions of the Wonderlust logo would be featured in the new iPhone models. As revealed, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models are available in black, black titanium to be exact.

Similar to the naming convention of the original iPhone 15 colors, the titanium models have simple color names: black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium.

These colors offer a stark contrast to the lighter, more vibrant hues seen in the iPhone 15 lineup. The Pro and Pro Max models exude sophistication with their sleek and impressive metal finish. The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are the embodiment of elegance.

The Pro’s color scheme perfectly aligns with Apple’s design philosophy for the iPhone. When the iPhone 14 was launched in September of last year, it was available in blue, purple, midnight, starlight, and Product Red. In another surprise announcement in March of this year, Apple introduced a new, pastel yellow color option for the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus. Perhaps, Apple has additional plans for new color options of the iPhone 15, similar to this past release? Only time will tell.
