Apple has made a significant announcement concerning Windows users who utilize iTunes on Windows while using an iPhone or accessing Apple Music and Apple TV. For Windows 10 or later, Apple has rolled out new “standalone” versions of Apple Music, Apple TV, and a new Device Manager as replacements for iTunes for Windows. However, Windows users will still employ iTunes for Windows for audiobooks and podcasts. This software also comes into play when setting up new software on your PC. iTunes for Windows was first launched by Apple on October 16, 2003, with support for the iPod and the iTunes Music Store. Apple has published a support document providing details about the new software.
Apple has released a reimagined iCloud for Windows app. The updated app provides an easier way to view which apps are utilizing iCloud, manage the amount of iCloud+ storage, and more. It can be used to access iCloud features such as iCloud Photos, iCloud Drive, iCloud Passwords, and iCloud Contacts, Calendars, and Bookmarks. The iCloud for Windows app is accompanied by the iCloud for Windows User Guide for reference.
