MacKenzie Scott, who is the former spouse of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, has sold approximately a quarter of her shares in the company last year. The value of the shares exceeded $10 billion, as reported by Bloomberg.According to the Bloomberg report, Scott, a 53-year-old philanthropist who played a crucial role in building the company with Bezos, sold 65.3 million shares of the e-commerce giant in 2023, as stated in a regulatory filing referenced by Bloomberg. The monetary value of the share sale constitutes about 25% of Scott’s stake in the company and amounts to $10.4 billion based on Amazon’s closing price on Friday.
