After almost 18 months since its quiet appearance, Microsoft has made the PC Manager app available in the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 and 11. The Store listing states, “Microsoft PC Manager is a legitimate computer security tool used by users worldwide. It integrates the Windows antivirus engine to create a computer protection system. The app adheres to the principles of simplicity, ease of use, close to native, effective and safe, and clean without distractions.” Yikes! It seems that this is a translated Chinese program. However, despite the poorly written description, the app offers several features including Smart Boost, Health Check, Process management, Deep cleaning, Basic software, System security, Land Management, Program management, and Toolbox. It also allows you to change the app running on startup and join Microsoft PC Manager Pop-up Plan.
Despite the unusual language and layout, the app can be downloaded for free from the Microsoft Store if you’re interested. You can also learn more on the PC Manager website.
