NASA, Blue Beginning Invite Media to New Glenn Release of Mars Venture – NASA

NASA and Blue Beginning are making ready for the company’s ESCAPADE (Get away and Plasma Acceleration and Dynamics Explorers) undertaking, which starts at the inaugural release of the corporate’s New Glenn rocket. The undertaking will learn about the sun wind’s interplay with the magnetosphere on Mars.

The ESCAPADE undertaking will use two similar spacecraft to research how the sun wind interacts with the hybrid magnetosphere on Mars and the way this interplay drives the planet’s atmospheric get away. The undertaking is funded via NASA’s Heliophysics Department and is a part of the NASA Small Leading edge Missions for Planetary Exploration program. The ESCAPADE undertaking is led via the College of California, Berkeley’s Area Sciences Laboratory, and the spacecraft is designed via Rocket Lab.
