NASA’s Parker Sun Probe survived its record-breaking closest strategy to the sun floor on Dec. 24, 2024. Breaking its earlier checklist by way of flying simply 3.8 million miles above the outside of the Solar, the spacecraft hurtled during the sun setting at a blazing 430,000 miles in line with hour — quicker than any human-made object has ever moved.
