New York lawmakers suggest new law aimed toward having Chick-Fil-A open seven days every week

A New York lawmaker has presented a invoice that will require eating places inside leisure stops at the Thruway and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to be open seven days every week. The most recent law in particular goals 9 Chick-fil-A eating places that each one function within New York trip plazas.
Chick-Fil-A, the most important fast-food chain that specialize in rooster sandwiches, is famously closed on Sundays “to permit Operators and their crew participants to revel in an afternoon of leisure, be with their households and family members, and worship in the event that they make a selection,” in keeping with corporate coverage. Chick-Fil-A has adopted this coverage because it opened its first eating place in 1946.
A consultant for Assemblyman Tony Simone, who proposed the invoice, mentioned the lawmaker believes “Chick-Fil-A may simply serve their consumers higher if their eating places had been open seven days every week.”
“The invoice addresses the desire for any eating place that serves vacationers to be open seven days every week,” the consultant informed Trade Insider in an e mail. “In the case of trip spaces, like leisure stops, bus stations, and airports, individuals are regularly touring on Sundays, and so it does not make any sense for one of the most few eating places to be had at those places to be closed on one of the most busiest trip days of the week.”
