Iran’s best diplomat has made a sustained effort to comprise the dimensions of Israel’s attainable retaliation. On Sunday he met along with his Iraqi counterpart, Fuad Hussein, who mentioned Baghdad used to be towards a selection of the Mideast conflict to Iran.
At a joint press convention, Aragchi reiterated that Iran would proceed consultations “to stop the escalation of hysteria within the area and to paintings for peace and [a] cease-fire” within the area.
He added that Iran used to be “totally ready for a conflict scenario … however we don’t need conflict, we wish peace.”
