DAVINCI’s probe will start photographing Alpha Regio — accumulating the highest-resolution photographs but — as soon as it descends under the planet’s clouds, beginning at about 25 miles, or 40 kilometers, altitude. However even there, gases within the surroundings scatter gentle, as does the skin, such that those photographs will seem blurred.
