How to watch the Packers vs. Falcons online from anywhere using a VPN

If you find that you can’t view the game locally because to prevent accidental shutdown, you may need another way to watch the game and that’s where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also a great way to prevent your ISP from throttling your game-to-game speed by hiding your traffic, plus it’s a great idea when you’re traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add it. additional password for your devices and logins.

With a VPN, you can change the location of your phone, tablet or laptop to access the game. So if your internet provider or mobile device has given you an IP address that incorrectly reflects your location as being off-limits, a VPN can fix that problem by giving you an IP address in your correct, unblocked location. Many VPNs, like ours Editors’ Choice, ExpressVPNit should be easy to do this.

Livestream the Packers vs. Falcons game in the US

This week’s Packers-Falcons game is on Fox, so in addition to a VPN set up in the area that’s carrying the game (see instructions below) you’ll need live TV broadcast service which carries the local Fox affiliate that is broadcasting the game. One such low-cost service is Sling TV Blue.

The mobile phone displays the Sling TV logo.

Blue’s Sling TV plan includes NBC, Fox, and the NFL Network, though it doesn’t have CBS, ABC, or ESPN. Enter your address here to see the nearest transport available to your location. NFL RedZone is also available for an additional $11 per month.

Note that to get ABC and ESPN, you’ll need to switch to the similarly priced Orange plan (which drops Fox, NBC, and NFL Network) or buy the $60 per month Orange and Blue bundle that includes channels from both packages. With the included plan, the Sports Extra add-on, which includes RedZone, is an additional $15 per month.

One important caveat: To our knowledge, Fox partners are only available if your billing address is in one of the 18 cities included in Sling’s contract. If you are outside of these areas, it is best to go with one of the alternatives listed below.

Many other TV streaming services also carry local Fox stations, including YouTube TV, Hulu Plus Live TV, DirecTV Stream, and FuboTV. Both cost more than Sling TV, but they also carry more channels, including football streaming channels like ESPN. Check out our live TV streaming guide for more information.

If you live in an area where the game is being broadcast, an over-the-air antenna connected to your TV will provide an alternative to Fox. The best part about antennas is that there are no subscriptions or monthly payments required, although you do need to make sure you have good reception.

Quick tips for streaming Packers vs. Falcons using a VPN

  • With four variables at play — your ISP, browser, streaming service provider, and VPN — experience and success can vary.
  • Sling Blue is the only option if Fox affiliate access is active on your account. You may need to confirm that your billing address is correct before issuing a credit card.
  • If you don’t see the location you want as ExpressVPN’s default option, try using “search for a city or country”.
  • If you’re having trouble accessing the game after turning on your VPN and setting it to the right viewing location, there are two things you can try to fix it quickly. First, log in to your registered account and make sure that the address registered to the account is the same as the address in the viewing area. If not, you may need to change the address on file with your account. Second, some smart TVs – such as Roku – do not have VPN software that you can install directly on the device. Instead, you need to set up a VPN on your router or the mobile hotspot you’re using (like your phone) so that every device on its Wi-Fi network is now visible in the right place.
  • All of the VPN providers we recommend have helpful instructions on their main site to quickly install a VPN on your router. Sometimes with smart TVs, when you install an online game app, you will be asked to confirm a number or click on a link sent to your email on your smart TV file. This is where having a VPN on your router also helps, as both devices will appear to be in the right place.
  • And remember, browsers can often give away the location even when using a VPN, so make sure you’re using a private browser to access your games. We usually recommend it Brave.
