January 25, 2024

This week, the PlayStation 5 firmware update appears to have rendered the Cronus Zen device inoperable, which enables players to utilize macros and modify their controllers. Call of Duty players have been leveraging unauthorized third-party hardware such as XIM and Cronus Zen for years to optimize their preferences and reduce the time required to utilize a mouse and keyboard. Activision stated that its anti-cheat technology, Ricochet, had detected the use of these devices and that bans would be implemented for repeat offenders in 2023. users are advised against updating their console while undergoing maintenance. The statement reads, “We are aware of an issue with Zen and PS5. As of January 24, the contractor recommends everyone to upgrade to Version: 24.01-08.60.00, and if you do, Zen will no longer connect to PS5 without jumping. However, this change is not necessary. Just jump and everything should still work with the Zen 2.2.2 update as expected.” There is currently no set schedule, so please do not be upset if you are asked to check this information for any pending request. It could be 24 hours, 24 days, 24 months; we do not know until we check.” Top 10 Music Games at Work
