Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League player shares a mysterious message indicating the potential return of a significant character. Warning: Spoilers ahead for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. In Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Harley Quinn eliminates a mind-controlled Batman, igniting a contentious storyline in Rocksteady’s takeover shooters. This version of Batman hails from Rocksteady’s beloved Arkhamverse, leading to heated discussions about the character’s demise. However, can Batman make a comeback? A new video from Batman Arkham Videos hints at Batman’s potential return. As detailed in the video, Suicide Squad players can find 12 calendars in Metropolis, each displaying a specific date. Notably, the December calendar includes a bat symbol on a particular date, situated in a significant Batman location. While the Easter egg initially seems tied to Batman supervillain Calendar Man, it actually revolves around Batman himself. The method utilized by Batman Arkham Videos involved converting the dates into letters based on the day of the month, sequentially choosing each letter by month, to reveal a hidden message: “He will come again.” This discovery has fueled speculation within the Suicide Squad community about Batman’s potential return. While on the surface it may seem implausible (given his later head injury), various conjectures go beyond the simple notion that superheroes don’t die in comics. Some posited that the Justice League characters killed off in the game are fictional entities created by Brainiac, while the original characters are stored elsewhere for safekeeping. Another hypothesis suggests numerous intricacies, likely not indicating the arrival of Batman from an alternate universe to save the day. Some even speculate that the game unfolds in a separate universe from the previous Arkham games. Furthermore, data analysis indicates a strong possibility for the Flash and Green Lantern to return in alternate forms, suggesting that adding Batman to the list may not be far-fetched. Officially, it’s confirmed that the Joker will be a playable character in Suicide Squad. Other anticipated arrivals include Mrs. Freeze (Nora Fries), Lawless, and Deathstroke. However, Batman’s return would mark a substantial development, given the trajectory of Suicide Squad’s narrative and more. Producer Rocksteady and publisher Warner Bros have yet to address these speculations. Wesley serves as the UK News Editor for IGN. Find him on Twitter at @wyp100.
