Screenshot : Rocksteady / WB Games While playing WB Games' new shooter, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, a player was shot down by enemies in the midst of a battle. Then he heard what he probably didn't want to hear: the name of the next player in the game. And you can't blame data hoarders or leakers for that. In fact, it's all Brainiac's fault. Game Week: Pokémon And Guns And Other New Features Launched earlier this month, Suicide Squad is the latest game from Rocksteady, the developer behind the popular Batman: Arkham series. In our review of the recently released online killer shooters – featuring DC villains like Harley Quinn and Deadshot who have teamed up to halt an alien invasion – we explained that Suicide Squad's battle is excellent and its story is engaging. However, there's not much to do in this open-world shooter, and the conclusion (and ending) is unsatisfying. But more is coming, including new playable characters, which were only partially leaked.
As noticed by PC Gamer , a recent Reddit post on the Suicide Squad subreddit shows a clip of gameplay of a character embodying Harley Quinn. The player is knocked down and needs help getting back up. Meanwhile, Brainiac—who starts conversing with players as they reach the conclusion of the game—begins taunting Harley. Well, they attempt to. Instead, he says: “I didn't expect you to be the weak link in this chain, Freeze.
Brainiac is (accidentally) referring to Mr. Freeze, a renowned Batman character who previously appeared in the Arkham games. While it was already known that The Joker would be included in the game’s first season, Rocksteady hadn’t disclosed who would play the next character, perhaps wanting to tease the unveiling later on. However, considering the roadmap that the studio outlined prior to the launch of Suicide Squad – highlighting the frozen world and its character – it seems that Freeze (possibly another iteration of the villain) will be introduced to the shooter in the second season. Poor Brainiac. Hopefully, he doesn’t face repercussions for making this error. .
