Graeme Thomas Sanders, a 46-year-old actor and teaching assistant in London and Sussex, had previously transformed his body twice, but struggled to maintain the extreme diets he followed. That changed when he embarked on a new transformation journey, finding success with a different approach. Let’s hear from him how he got ripped.
In his previous body transformations at 21 and in his early thirties, he achieved great results but couldn’t sustain the extreme diets due to time and work commitments. In 2022, several factors, including a hectic schedule, caring for his father, and his own health issues, left him feeling exhausted and unable to train. However, with some major life changes and more available time, he felt motivated to take his fitness seriously. He decided to seek expertise to help him transform his physique and learn how to maintain it.a person in a gymHis turning point came when he came across an online article featuring an incredible transformation, and the credit went to Ultimate Performance (U.P.) gym, which happened to be conveniently close to his workplace. U.P. designed a personalized training plan for him and emphasized the importance of fitting the program around his life, not the other way around, teaching him not just how to change his body, but also how to maintain the transformation in his everyday life. With a 15-week timeframe and three to four training sessions each week, Graeme worked on basic push/pull exercises for upper and lower body. His trainer also tailored the program to address his psychological challenges with leg days and helped him focus on proper techniques and efficient cardio, as well as tracking progress through daily weigh-ins and structured meal plans. U.P. also provided a holistic training app for Graeme to monitor his daily progress and receive guidance from his trainer. The app became an essential tool in his transformation journey. His nutrition underwent a significant overhaul, with a focus not only on the content and portion sizes of his meals, but also on eliminating alcohol completely for the 15 weeks.Headshot of Emily ShifferBy the end of the 15-week program, Graeme had achieved an impressive transformation, going from 172 pounds to 138 pounds, and significantly decreasing his body fat percentage while maintaining lean muscle mass. He felt more confident, both physically and mentally, and noticed improvements in his fitness and overall energy levels. His advice for anyone looking to embark on their own transformation journey is to set clear goals, stay committed, seek professional guidance, and believe in the process. He encourages others to invest in the right expertise and to remain focused, disciplined, and patient, as the results will inevitably follow.
