Japan’s Meteorological Company has issued a tsunami advisory after a 6.9 magnitude earthquake came about off the coast of southwest Japan.
The quake struck in a while after 9:19 p.m. native time (7:19 a.m. ET), the company mentioned, triggering an advisory for Miyazaki province, within the island of Kyushu, in addition to Japan’s southern Kochi prefecture.
Government have instructed locals now not to go into the ocean or means the coast till the advisory is lifted, the rustic’s meteorological company mentioned on X.
