A single individual has lost their life in a Russian village near the Ukrainian border due to an attack launched from Ukraine, according to Roman Starovoit, the regional governor of Kursk.
Governor Starovoit, via Telegram, stated that the village of Plekhovo “was bombarded from Ukraine,” resulting in the death of a 30-year-old man who sustained injuries from shrapnel fragments.
Furthermore, Starovoit mentioned that multiple houses were damaged during the strike, which occurred just a few kilometers away from the border.
In recent months, there have been several instances of attacks originating from Ukrainian territory into Russia.
