Sources familiar with the matter have stated that the US is working towards announcing substantial grants for chip production by the end of March. This move aims to allocate billions of dollars to semiconductor manufacturers, including Intel Corp., in an effort to boost domestic production. These grants are a key component of the 2022 Chips and Science Act, which has earmarked $39 billion in direct funding to rejuvenate US manufacturing.
