Footage from doorbell and security cameras captured a meteor illuminating the skies of Colorado in the early morning hours of Sunday.
The event was witnessed across Colorado and a few other locations in the United States, as documented by the American Meteor Society.
Fox News Digital has obtained footage captured by weather enthusiast Edward Hurrell showing the fiery meteor passing through the sky in Broomfield, which is approximately a 25-minute drive north of Denver.

Other videos circulating online display the meteor flashing brightly before fragmenting into smaller pieces and disappearing from view.
According to NASA, fireballs and “bolides” are remarkably bright meteors that can be observed over a large area.
