Warner Bros. has decided to reward the owners of the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Deluxe Edition with $20 worth of in-game currency due to server issues that made the online game unplayable at launch. The Deluxe Edition, which was purchased for $100, provides customers with a three-day head start before the game’s official release on January 30, 2024. The server downtime lasted for more than six hours, preventing players from accessing the game. Frustrated customers expressed their dissatisfaction and some even demanded refunds. Warner Bros. has responded to these concerns by thanking the players for their patience and offering them 2000 LuthorCoins as a special gift. This gesture was announced in a message directed towards the concerned customers. The company acknowledged the inconvenience caused by the server transition and expressed appreciation for the players’ patience. The gift is equivalent to approximately $20 and reflects Warner Bros.’s recognition of the customers’ loyalty. The game’s setup controversy has led to demands for the addition of the promised online mode. The community eagerly anticipates the launch of the online mode on February 2, with the focus now on the server’s performance. Concerns have risen regarding Kevin Conroy’s portrayal of Batman in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, as it is perceived as a potentially disrespectful farewell to his renowned portrayal of the character.
