A police officer on a bike was once attacked in Liverpool as protests within the town became violent.Merseyside Police mentioned masses of protesters had accumulated within the town and that bricks and bottles have been thrown at officials.Assistant Leader Constable Jenny Sims mentioned two officials have been injured right through the protests with one struggling a damaged nostril, and some other left with a damaged jaw.
