The “Suicide Squad” season becomes available worldwide Monday night on consoles (and 10 a.m. PT Tuesday on Steam), which marks its official release. Unfortunately, we won’t have an immediate review of the new Rocksteady-as-a-service looter game, as the codes were not provided beforehand. In fact, Warner Bros Games informed IGN that they have chosen not to send us the codes at all. While this is disappointing since we aim to have a comprehensive opinion on the game available at launch, it is within the rights of WB as sending codes is not an obligation or something we take for granted. We will purchase the game and start our reviews, tips, and other articles as soon as it becomes available, and we will provide previews as promptly as possible. We appreciate your patience! Without further delay, we encourage you to watch our Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League show from earlier this month. Although the previewer was optimistic about the potential of the story cutscenes and the design that was sampled, ultimately, they left the episode with less enthusiasm than anticipated. Perhaps the overall game will be better! If you’re joining in, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments. Tom Marks is IGN’s Executive Reviews Editor.
