A post on Instagram depicting a three-legged stray cat in need of a foster home caught the attention of Debbie Sath, bringing an unexpected miracle into her life. The cat, named Princess Charming, had a traumatic backstory, having lost a leg to cancer and lacking human interaction. Despite medical predictions giving her six to nine months to live with the likelihood of the cancer returning, Debbie was instantly drawn to her and chose to adopt her instead of fostering, intending to offer her a loving home for whatever time she had left. View the video above to see how love played a vital role in saving Princess Charming’s life.”When I got Charming, I didn’t think about myself,” Sath explained. “I think my concerns were just her. My focus was just giving her a good life, giving her love, giving her care, giving her a safe place to heal.” Debbie concentrated on daily achievements, pampering her new pet with treats, creating a safe environment at home, and using affectionate words while speaking to her. After approximately three months, Princess Charming began to display signs of improvement, gradually revealing her true personality and learning to trust her new owner and her lively Pomeranian brother, Cole. “She’s getting so much better every single day. I’m so proud of her,” Sath shared.Six months passed, then nine, and eventually a year. Princess Charming not only exceeded expectations but also marked more than a year with her adoptive owner free from cancer! Debbie attributes this astonishing recovery to love and a piece of advice she received from a stranger. “I met this girl, and I told her about how I had just adopted Charm. She said speak to her. Tell her that you love her every single day and your love can heal her.”Following Debbie’s Instagram post about Princess Charming, the story went viral, resonating with many individuals. “I just realized the hope and the love and positivity that it gave people. I had people reaching out who had lost pets, family to cancer. People that were going through cancer messaged me saying that how much the video helped inspired them, and it’s giving them strength,” Sath expressed. View the full story below.
